The world of MaestraMagic! is expanding to French-speaking audiences with the release of the French edition of The Magic Flute, an interactive adaptation of Mozart’s beloved opera, created by conductor Elizabeth Askren.
Designed to introduce young (and young at heart) audiences to opera in an engaging and accessible way, this illustrated book combines hand-drawn artwork, QR codes linking to musical excerpts, and interactive activities, including puzzles and coloring pages.
MaestraMagic! began as an educational project launched by Elizabeth Askren and her daughter Lily during the 2020 pandemic lockdown. The project invites young readers to explore the world of opera through captivating storytelling, music, and creative activities.
The French edition was made possible with the translation contribution of Marie-Laure Druguet, bringing the magic of opera to an even wider audience of young readers, music lovers, and educators.
La Flûte Enchantée is now available on Amazon, joining the English and Spanish editions.
