Elizabeth Askren conducts the Yale Symphony Orchestra in the opening concert of its landmark 60th Anniversary Season on Saturday, September 27, at Woolsey Hall, Yale University. The program features works by Beethoven, Adams, and Rachmaninoff, alongside a Romanian composition by Adrian Pop - Elizabeth Askren's former doctoral professor at the Gheorghe Dima Music Academy in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
