Elizabeth Askren was invited to guest conduct the Ensemble Orchestral de Paris in a series of educational concerts. The program included world premieres by composer Aubert Lemeland based on Grimm fairytales: La Belle au Bois Dormant (Sleeping Beauty) et La Clé d’Or (the Golden Key), featuring actress Emmanuelle Magdalena and musicians from the Ensemble Orchestral de Paris.
The concerts were held at Paris’ Théâtre 13, and were followed by an interactive question and answer session between the public, the composer and the performers.
